Purchase Financing
Members Credit Union takes the hassle out of automobile financing.  With all automobile loans, Members Credit Union can:

  • Finance up to 100% of the sales price or the MSRP, whichever is less.

  • Finance up to 100% of the base NADA retail value price (adjusted for 4-wheel drive, diesel engine, and/or high mileage) or the actual sales price, whichever is less.

  • Include taxes, tags, and titling fees in the amount financed.

  • Finance new and used vehicles for a maximum of 84 months (minimum $125 monthly payment)

Free Vehicle Price Guides
Car buying can be a very stressful experience.  At  Members Credit Union, we try to take the hassle out of that experience. We will provide you with price guides for all new vehicles. We can determine for you the exact retail cost of any new vehicle as well as the dealer's cost.  This can be valuable information when negotiating a price for a new car. We can also tell you the NADA retail and wholesale prices of a used car or truck you are planning to trade or purchase.

Free Auto Buying Service
Let us find your car for you! Tell us the make and model of the car you would like to purchase, and our loan officers will try to find the car for you. This is a free, optional service designed to make your life easier.  You may still do the shopping yourself, but those of you who shudder at the thought of a car salesman can use this service at no charge.

Low Cost Extended Warranty Program
MCU also offers a low cost extended warranty program to our members.  Our extended warranty is usually less expensive than similar programs at the car dealership, while offering more extensive coverage.

Credit Life and Disability Insurance
All of our vehicle loans come with the option of purchasing credit life and/or credit disability insurance at a nominal fee. In the unfortunate event that you cannot work due to a fatal or disabling injury, your loan will be covered by this insurance.  Just another way Members Credit Union is looking out for you.

Don't Fall into the Trap of 0% Financing
Before you opt for 0% financing (and very few people actually qualify for that special rate) from the manufacturer rather than taking the rebate offered, make sure you call one of our loan officers for a cost comparison.  Many times by accepting the manufacturer's rebate and financing with MCU, your payment will actually be lower than if you took 0% financing.

Another advantage of using the rebate is that you build instant equity in your car.  If you pay list price for the vehicle and finance the total cost at 0% APR, you have no equity.
