Using MCU@Home for the First Time

Account access is just a click away with MCU@Home! With this powerful account access tool, you can view account balances, view electronic statements, send secure messages to credit union staff, set up account alerts, transfer funds between products, and much more! MCU@Home transforms your computer into a self-service Members Credit Union branch. So now, more than ever, your credit union is everywhere you want it to be! And with the all new multi-factor authentication (MFA) sign-in process, access has never been more secure!

To begin using our online account access service, click MCU@Home from the top of any page on memcu.com (or from the menu on the right of this page). Now, click "First Time Users". This page should look familiar. You will be asked to enter your Account (Member) Number, PIN, and to retype a randomly-generated security code.

You will then see Members Credit Union's MCU@Home usage agreement. Read this information carefully and select "I Accept." Next, you will be prompted to create and answer your security questions. You can type any question you would like for these entries, or you can use standard questions from the "or use one of ours" drop-down window. Once you have entered all three questions and answers, you will be required to enter a Security Key and your Email Address. Make sure your Security Key only contains letters A-Z (symbols and spaces should not be used). Once completed, click "Finalize". Now you are ready for MFA! If you would like to see a step-by-step video of the security update process, click here.

Now that you have gone through the Security Update, you can login to MCU@Home with MFA. Login to MCU@Home with MFA by clicking "Login with MFA". Again, you will be prompted to type in your Account (Member) Number and the randomly-generated Security Code. Once completed, click "next". You will now be asked to answer one of your security questions. Type in the appropriate answer to this question and click "next." Your Security Key will now be displayed, and you will be asked to input your PIN. If you are using your own non-public computer (work or home), you may choose to have the system "Remember my PC". This will allow you (with the use of a "cookie") to bypass the security questions in every subsequent login from that particular computer. If at any point you delete "cookies" from your computer, you will be required to go through the security question process again to establish a new "cookie". If you are logging in with a public computer (library, friend's house, business lobby, etc.), you should not select "Remember my PC". If you would like to see a step-by-step video of the MFA login process, click here.

If you have any questions about MFA or the new login process to MCU@Home, please contact , your nearest Members Credit Union branch location, or our Member Services Department at 1-800-951-8000, option 5.
