Today there are plenty of financial institutions offering free Checking Accounts with overdraft protection. Unfortunatley some of those financial institutions charge their Checking Account customers high transfer fees for using their overdraft protection product. If you have a Checking Account with another financial institution maybe it’s time to compare their overdraft program with what Members Credit Union has to offer.  Members with an MCU Checking Account who do not have a VISA Debit Card with overdraft protection may call our Loan Department at 800-951-5626. An MCU Loan Officer will mail you the necessary forms to sign in order to receive a VISA Debit Card with an overdraft line of credit of up to $500. If you would like a larger line of credit contact your local MCU Loan Officer to submit a credit application.
